I should have added this to my comment: And do not mix up the truth with the falsehood, nor hide the truth while you know (it). 2:42

I found the responses to the "story" more informative than the story itself. The details of the story were doubtful (was he polishing his car with that wrench?!), and therefore the entire article became doubtful for me. Surely it is not necessary to use fictional info in order to make what is good and right appear better. Truth does not require literary enhancement. If you must do so, it should be noted for your readers, lest you lead someone astray. Thank you.

"Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character;
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny."

Subhanallah, very powerful statements mashallah. I know that it's something I need to implement into my life. May Allah guide us all. Ameen.

To muslimah,

Salam

You are right about the importance of the authenticity of the narration from Hadith. However, the story given in this post, I believe, is just a story.

A more important message delivered from the story is to remind us do not prioritize the "things" above "people" since "people" are more dear to us. After all, "things" can be replaced, but not "people".

It's just my own personal opinion. Forgive me if I misinterpret your message.

A kind reminder to the author: The site is rated G. Please do not include violent scenes.

sorry for asking so many questions...but narrating a story where one is not sure to be true...does it not come under lying category because the things that are in doubt should be avoided and one should stick to the truth in every sense...not to say and forward stories where one is not 100% sure of its authenticity...either the intention is good or not or the ultimate result is good or not...but sticking to truth is really important in Islam apart from specific situations mentioned in Quran and Hadith....
please kindly clarify my point.
jazakum Allah khair

@muslimah

Doesn't seem to be a real story. However, we do know a similar story narrated by a shaikh, it's about anger, but no love involved.
