Assalam o alaikum,

By chance I stumbled upon your site. Thank you very much. It helps to read positive things to reinforce ones belief.

Lately my prayers have become very mechanical. I’m praying without any happiness in my heart, unfortunately. Over the years there have been moments in my prayers when I’ve felt really really happy, content and peaceful. But of late its no more.

Your website has certainly helped me, and inshaallah from this moment onwards I’ll start to regain my lost concentration and gain Khushuu inshaallah.

The “hidden disease inside the heart” is, indeed, the “pride”.

How can we not be reminded from time to time to take away the evil thoughts, including pride, jealousy, selfishness, hatred, suspicion, anger and the like, from our hearts and pray to Allah for forgiveness.

No transliteration. It’s not a supplication that one needs to memorize, so we didn’t transliterate it.

As for meaning, it’s posted now. It was basically explained in the usage.

im a muslim al hamdulelah when i pray i raely dont have any of this feeling called khushuu i pray cause its intended of me as a muslim, dont get me wrong im very proud of myself for praying since i was 14 years old, im not the best muslim sister but Ahllah knows how hard im trying, i pray without know what im saying i pray sometimes fast where i can go back to work or go sit down and watch a movie or clean the house or cook. I realy want to better myself in my salah i want to feel like im there right in front of Ahlah where i can feel that my pray is being accepted. Im 41 and a mother of 3 boys i wear a scraff and very proud of my relegion. I just want to do more and be more motavited to get up and read quran and dua but something always pulls me back please give me some advice in how i can use my time wisly, thank u
